AMC: Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with $5 Showings

AMC Theaters has announced that in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the theatrical exhibitor is launching $5 Fan Faves showtimes of Blue Beetle at more than 500 locations in the United States through October 15.

Tickets to the superhero film will be just $5 plus tax at all participating locations, and showtimes with Spanish subtitles will be available ato 130 select AMC Theaters, including 25 locations featuring the Spanish-language dubbed version.

This programming initiative comes in addition to current efforts by AMC to exemplify Latin American excellence on the big screen each year during Hispanic Heritage Month.

In addition to Blue Beetle, moviegoers can also see Aristotle and Dante Discover The Secrets Of The Universe and Satanic Hispanics. Note that these two films are not part of the $5 Fan Faves promotion.

Synopsis: Mexican-American teenagers Aristotle Mendoza and Dante Quintana explore their friendship while struggling with racial and ethnic identity, sexuality and family relationships in 1987 El Paso, Texas. Other upcoming releases that will feature Spanish language formats at select locations include Expendables 4, Saw X, Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie, and Exorcist: Believer.

Synopsis: Police raid a house in El Paso, Texas, and find one lone survivor of a brutal massacre. Taken into custody for questioning, the mysterious man starts telling them strange tales of other worlds, mythical creatures, demons and the undead.
