Anime Expo 2023 Day 2: Attack on Titan and Azuki

During the MAPPA x Crunchyroll! panel on Day 2 of Anime Expo 2023, a new trailer debuted teasing Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS Special 2, scheduled for release this fall. Additionally, the manga subscription service, Azuki, announced a number of new offerings.

Final Season The Final Chapters Synopsis: The fate of the world hangs in the balance as Eren unleashes the ultimate power of the Titans. During the Azuki Manga Industry Panel feat. Mecha-Ude, the launch of the Mecha-Ude: Mechanical Arms manga was celebrated with a special guest appearance by Mecha-Ude anime series director Sae Okamoto.

Additional major announcements from Azuki included 10 new manga licenses (see below), upcoming volume releases, and a new beta feature that allows users to download eBooks directly from the Azuki website.

eBook editions of the romantic comedy manga Natsume & Natsume will be published by Azuki, with new English chapters serialized every Friday through the Azuki app.

Urban Legend Hunters by Yvon Lee, Art by NOFI and distributed by MediBang: Have you heard of the popular horror mobile game from Taiwan? This manga has been adapted from the Urban Legend Hunters series where urban legends grow in power as they grow in popularity.

After getting wrapped up in a grisly crime at school, Yangda has to investigate the urban legend he believes to be at the root of the cause. His investigation leads him to believe a “dating ban” is behind a tense atmosphere that’s breeding spirits that resemble babies. Will he hold a ritual and speak with the spirits to find out if the murderer is actually a ghost or just pretending?
