The film picks up where the previous installment left off, with Scott Lang (Rudd) struggling to balance his superhero duties with his responsibilities as a father. However, his world is turned upside down when he is joined by a new villain, Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors), a time-traveling tyrant from the future who threatens the very fabric of reality.

What follows is a fast-paced and exciting journey that takes Ant-Man and his allies, including Hope van Dyne a.k.a The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly), Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), through the quantum realm and beyond. The action sequences are thrilling, the humor is on-point, and the performances are top-notch.

Fans have been waiting eagerly to see Kang the Conqueror in action since he was teased in Loki on Disney+ last year. Majors brings depth and nuance to the role, and his scenes with Rudd are some of the movie’s best.

Movie-goer Richard Murray said it was one of his favorite Marvel movies to date. “The CGI was very good and Kang the Conqueror is such a compelling villain. Jonathan Majors did an amazing job. Marvel nailed that casting.”

Die-hard Marvel fan Laura Payne thought the comedy was the highlight of the movie. “It was honestly one of the funniest Marvel movies yet, and I mean that in a good way. It wasn’t overdone like it was in Thor: Love and Thunder. Veb was by far my favorite character. Holy crap, he was hilarious! For being a side character, he really made the movie.”
