Comics publisher DSTLRY has revealed an open-order variant cover for Gone #1 by Eisner-Award winning creator Peach Momoko (Demon Days). The sci-fi series features 48 pages written, drawn, and colored by Eisner-Award winning creator Jock, and spins out of his 8-page story “The Stowaway” from The Devil’s Cut, which itself has officially sold out on the distributor level with over 55,000 copies sold just one week after release.
“It’s incredible to see so many fans and retailers supporting our launch with such genuine excitement and enthusiasm for both The Devil’s Cut and what’s to come,” said DSTLRY co-founders David Steinberger and Chip Mosher in a joint statement. “We’re deeply touched by the level of interest in an independent, creator-owned publisher, so much of which is due to our legendary creator lineup, and we promise that we will continue to work tirelessly on behalf of creators, retailers, and fans to continue—and exceed—the high bar this sets.”
Gone #1 will be available for purchase at local comic shops starting on October 25, 2023. Retailers can place orders now, with the Final Order Cutoff Date as September 10 through Lunar Distribution and September 11 through Diamond Comic Distributors.
