French DJ Madeon (real name Hugo Pierre Leclercq) released a music video for his song, “Miracle,” from his second album, Good Faith, on July 30, 2020.
The music video is directed by Lena Headey, best known for her role as Cersei Lannister on Game of Thrones, and stars another familiar face from Westeros, Maisie Williams, who played Arya Stark.
On Twitter, Madeon explained Headey’s vision for the music video and how Williams came on board as a result of having worked together on Game of Thrones.
A few months ago, while I was on tour, Lena Headey reached out about making a video for Miracle.
Maisie Williams quickly joined (they had both met on the set of Game of Thrones).— Madeon (@madeon) July 29, 2020
“Her vision was so clear, it was very different from the way I’ve illustrated the universe of “Good Faith” up to that point but that’s what made the idea so fascinating,” he tweeted.
For a highly visual body of work that Madeon has brought to life through music, live performances, merchandise, and other imagery, Lena Headey saw a distinct story to tell within the music.
“They focused on the drama of the music and made a beautiful video,” he tweeted. “I’m very honored that my music inspired them!”
It is interesting to note that this is Headey’s second time going behind the camera as a director as well as her second music video collaboration with Williams. The two of them both worked on Freya Ridings’ music video for “You Mean the World to Me.”

There was also a video attached to the official audio of “Dream Dream Dream” which Madeon said “captures what I wanted Good Faith to feel like.” The video itself was filmed during a retreat Madeon had with the Architects, a group I believe to be his creative collaborators such as CHIVTEAM but there has been no confirmation at this time.
