Kim Dami and Son Sukku both star in the upcoming crime thriller series, Nine Puzzles. The dark series coming next year is about two intrepid investigators putting aside their differences and working together when a serial killer begins playing games with the police.
Yoon Ena is played by Kim Dami (Itaewon Class, Our Beloved Summer) and is a criminal profiler with a childhood marked by tragedy and is thrown headfirst into a dangerous new case. With the threat of the killer looming who taunts her and the police force, Ena must team up with her biggest critic – fellow investigator Kim Hanseam (played by Son Sukku (Big Bet, My Liberation Notes)) in hopes of solving the case before the killer takes another life. Joining them is Kim Sungkyun (Moving, 12:12: The Day) who plays Yang Jungho.
Nine Puzzles is written by Lee Eunmi (Navillera, About Tunnel) and directed by Yoon Jongbin (Narco-Saints, The Spy Gone North). The series is the latest Korean drama announced as part of the growing collection of must-see Korean storytelling on Disney+ and Hulu, such as the previously mentioned Big Bet, starring legendary actor Choi Minsik as a serial entrepreneur who repeatedly crosses the line to help bolster his burgeoning casino business; Moving, about a group of South Korean special agents working to protect their super-powered children from harm and exploitation; and the recently released hit A Shop for Killers.
Stream Nine Puzzles starting 2025 exclusively on Disney+ internationally and Hulu in the United States.
