Daniel Craig bids adieu to his sixteen-year run as M16 Agent/Commander James Bond on a high note in No Time to Die.
From the film’s opening flashback to the final faceoff between Bond and this film’s criminal mastermind, the action is not only packed but intense and even unsettling at times.
Rami Malek’s villainous role will have moments where you will feel for him as a victim of unfortunate circumstances, but his criminal nature always returns to the surface to justify the lengths Bond will go to stop his foe.
As the world’s most recognized superspy, the James Bond franchise is full of iconic tropes that have come to define 007 and his films. No Time to Die has nothing lacking in this department, from the guns, cars, mattress wrestling, tuxedos, boats, helicopters, and of course the watch.
Without spoiling too much of the film’s storyline, No Time to Die dives deep into the James Bond canon while also establishing new plot points that help tie things together across all of the films Craig has appeared in.
Only time will tell who and when our next 007 will make his or her appearance, but until then, fans can look forward to a perfect ending for Daniel Craig’s portrayal of the beloved spy in theaters on October 8, 2021.
