It’s very rare that a sequel transcends its predecessor, but Venom: Let There Be Carnage did exactly that.
Initially, I was worried about the movie’s PG-13 rating and the fact that Carnage was now the focal point.
However, the movie did a great job, even with its limitations there are plenty of action scenes.

What pushed Venom: Let There Be Carnage into the upper echelon of great comic book adaptations is that it makes way for Toxin, a symbiote that people rarely speak about, and introduces Venom to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
This means that we can expect to see Tom Hardy in the upcoming Spider-Man film No Way Home alongside Doc Ock and the Green Goblin.
More excitingly, this also opens the door to see our very own Tom Holland in his own Venom suit.
