Synopsis: ANUJA tells the story of a gifted nine-year-old girl, alongside her sister Palak, as they work in a back-alley garment factory. When a teacher offers Anuja a chance to attend an elite boarding school, the sisters must navigate challenges that test their resilience and bond, culminating in a decision faced by countless young girls worldwide.

  1. House of David – Trailer

The biblical tale of David versus Goliath is ubiquitous, as references to the victorious underdog or the small upstart taking on the bigger power players seems to be made every day. The upcoming series, House of David, expands on that story by starting with when David was a shepherd boy and following that journey to answer the question if one stone can change the course of history. It looks appropriately epic for a story from the Bible, and one will have to watch to see if this will be one of times such an adaptation is successful in capturing the attention of audiences.

Release Date: On Prime Video on February 27, 2025

Synopsis: House of David tells the story of the ascent of the biblical figure, David, who eventually becomes the most renowned and celebrated king of Israel. The series follows the once-mighty King Saul as he falls victim to his own pride. At the direction of God, the prophet Samuel anoints an unlikely, outcast teenager as the new king. As Saul loses his power over his kingdom, David finds himself on a journey to discover and fulfill his destiny, navigating love, loss, and violence in the court of the very man he’s destined to replace. As one leader falls, another must rise.

  1. The Alto Knights – Trailer

Robert De Niro? Another film led by one actor in a dual role? It’s like a fusion of last week’s What’s New Wednesday and Sinners press conference coverage with Robert De Niro in his own dual role with the upcoming film, The Alto Knights.

Release Date: In theaters on March 21, 2025

Synopsis: Two of New York’s most notorious organized crime bosses vie for control of the city’s streets. Once the best of friends, petty jealousies and a series of betrayals place them on a deadly collision course that will reshape the Mafia (and America) forever.

  1. The Fantastic Four: First Steps – Teaser

The first teaser for The Fantastic Four: First Steps looks incredible, unironically fantastic with an appropriately retro/nostalgic vibe along with the futuristic sci-fi elements associated with the team, like the suits and H.E.R.B.I.E. July is going to be an epic month for comic book fans with Superman kicking things off and The Fantastic Four to follow up!

Release Date: In theaters on July 25, 2025
