  1. Karate Kid: Legends – Official Trailer

The first trailer for Karate Kid: Legends showcases a film that feels distinctly more edgy with a teenage angst of a different tone from the 2010 Karate Kid. One of the things worth noting that I’m excited for is Ben Wang’s character Li Fong learning to blend kung fu with karate, thus being the call for the two legends: Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio as Mr. Han and Daniel LaRusso.

Release Date: In theaters on May 30, 2025

Synopsis: Karate Kid: Legends unites the iconic martial arts masters of one of the most beloved film franchises of all time to tell a completely new story full of action and heart. When kung fu prodigy Li Fong (Ben Wang) relocates to New York City with his mother to attend a prestigious new school, he finds solace in a new friendship with a classmate and her father. But his newfound peace is short-lived after he attracts unwanted attention from a formidable local karate champion. Driven by a desire to defend himself, Li embarks on a journey to enter the ultimate karate competition. Guided by the wisdom of his kung fu teacher, Mr. Han (Jackie Chan), and the legendary Karate Kid, Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio), Li merges their unique styles to prepare for an epic martial arts showdown.

  1. Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning – Official Trailer

In the sequel to Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, the 8th installment of the franchise titled Final Reckoning the action doesn’t stop and neither do the stunts for Tom Cruise.

Release Date: In theaters on May 23, 2025

Synopsis: “Our lives are the sum of our choices.” After escaping a calamitous train crash, Ethan realizes The Entity is stashed aboard an old Russian submarine, but a foe from his past named Gabriel is also on the trail.

  1. Fountain of Youth – Official Trailer

Director Guy Pierce and actress Eiza González reunite after last year’s The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare in Fountain of Youth, joined by co-stars John Krasinski, Natalie Portman, and Domhnall Gleeson. The film feels more grand and epic, fitting for a story that is more adventure than a wartime heist.

Release Date: On Apple TV+ on May 13, 2025

Synopsis: “Fountain of Youth” follows two estranged siblings (John Krasinski and Academy Award winner Natalie Portman) who partner on a global heist to find the mythological Fountain of Youth. They must use their knowledge of history to follow clues on an epic adventure that will change their lives … and possibly lead to immortality.
