Pop culture is a never-ending world of updates, teases, trailers, and hopefully releases. What’s New Wednesday is Dorkaholics’ way to keep us all up to date with what’s new across comics, tv, film, games, and more! This week, the focus is on Multiversus, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, the next Knives Out/Glass Onion film, and Blackwater Lane.

  1. Multiversus

Release Date: Full release on May 28th, 2024

Synopsis: When an evil entity called the Nothing emerges as a grave danger to the entire Warner Bros. Multiverse, Heroes and villains from across various WB universes are brought together to stop the Nothing and save all reality.

  1. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice

Release Date: In theaters on September 6, 2024

Synopsis: After an unexpected family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River.  Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia’s life is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid, discovers the mysterious model of the town in the attic and the portal to the Afterlife is accidentally opened.  With trouble brewing in both realms, it’s only a matter of time until someone says Beetlejuice’s name three times and the mischievous demon returns to unleash his very own brand of mayhem.

  1. Knives Out/Glass Onion: Next Film Title Revealed

Release Date: 2025

Synopsis: Not available

  1. Blackwater Lane

Release Date: In theaters on June 21, 2024

Synopsis: After witnessing a grisly tragedy, a woman is visited by a ghostly presence and starts to question her sanity. Based on the successful New York Times bestselling book by B.A. Paris.
