  1. Picture This – Trailer

After discovering Simone Ashley in the second season of Bridgerton, it’s great to see her in more work such as this upcoming film coming to Prime Video, Picture This. And while her character will be looking for a potential date to her sister’s wedding, she’ll also have to contend with the reappearance of her ex played by Hero Fiennes Tiffin (The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare).

Release Date: On Prime Video on March 6, 2025

Synopsis: In this heartfelt rom-com, struggling photographer Pia (Simone Ashley) receives a prediction: true love and career success await her in the next five dates she goes on. With her sister’s wedding looming and family playing matchmaker, her ex (Hero Fiennes Tiffin) reappears, throwing both her love and professional life into chaos.

  1. Deli Boys – Trailer

There’s a certain enjoyment I get from storylines involving the rich and pampered having to learn to work for their luxuries in life. Throw in the sacrifice of immigrant parents that I can relate to, Pakistani representation for my habibis, and mixing comedy and crime in one series, and we have Deli Boys. If it’s not obvious, I’m looking forward to the release of all the episodes on Hulu. And can’t wait to dork over it with my friends.

Release Date: On Hulu on March 6, 2025

Synopsis: When their convenience store-magnate father suddenly dies, a pair of  pampered Pakistani American brothers (Asif Ali, Saagar Shaikh) lose everything and are forced to reckon with their Baba’s secret life of crime as they attempt to take up his mantle in the underworld.

  1. My Love Will Make You Disappear – Teaser Trailer

I’m excited to share another rom-com from the Philippines, My Love Will Make You Disappear. The film features the theme of kilig – a Tagalog term for the feeling of romantic exhilaration. Dorkaholics previously interviewed the stars of Hello, Love, Again, a past release by ABS-CBN Films, the production company behind this film.

Release Date: In US and Canadian theaters on March 28, 2025

Synopsis: My Love Will Make You Disappear follows Sari, a woman convinced she is cursed to make every man she loves disappear until she meets Jolo, a despondent landlord looking for an escape from his heartbreak. As their paths intertwine, a connection blossoms, forcing them to confront their fears and decide if love is truly worth risking everything—even if it might disappear.

  1. Thunderbolts* – Big Game Trailer

The latest trailer for Thunderbolts* seems to center the heroic direction on Sebastian Stan as the WInter Soldier corralling this group of misfits to save the world in this seemingly new story for Marvel Studios (Agatha All Along). Gotta love Florence Pugh’s sass as Yelena Belova, since she points out without hesitation that this is a team of people that “just punch and shoot.”

Release Date: In theaters on May 2, 2025
