- Sweet Home Season 2: Premiere Date Announced
Netflix has released a new teaser to announce the premiere date of the second season for Sweet Home to be December 1, 2023.
Expanding from the original webtoon, director Lee Eung-bok consulted with writer Kim Kanbi to and had in-depth discussions about the hidden premises in the source material and how they would expand the world-building in the second season to craft a unique narrative.
“It is going to be a full-fledged apocalyptic drama,” director Lee said. “While Season 1 portrayed tension and fear in the confined space of the Green Home, Season 2 will be set in an open space with the introduction of a whole new group of characters and monsters.”
Actor Lee Jin-uk (Doona!) confirms that the series will now by charting its own course as a story, “This season will present a world that diverges from the original webtoon. As the world expands, there will be more to think about.”

- The Boy and the Heron: English Trailer Released
Distributor GKIDS has revealed the English trailer for the upcoming feature by Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli, The Boy and the Heron. The trailer confirms that this film will continue to dive into the surreal fantasy elements Miyazaki and Ghibli have become known for in their past works. Additionally, viewers are treated to a sample of the voice work done by a star-studded cast that includes TWO Batmans (Christian Bale and Robert Pattinson), Willem Dafoe, Mark Hamill, Dave Bautista, Gemma Chan, Karen Fukuhara, and Florence Pugh.
Release Date: In theaters on December 8, 2023
Synopsis: Through encounters with his friends and uncle, follows a teenage boy’s psychological development. He enters a magical world with a talking gray heron after finding an abandoned tower in his new town.
- Drive with Swizz Beatz: Trailer Debut
The trailer for Hulu’s upcoming automotive series, Drive with Swizz Beatz, is out now. The series will star music producer Swizz Beatz and his son Nasir as they travel the world, meeting different car cultures, connecting these separate communities to bond over a love for cars, and learn about the value of drive in each person’s life.

Synopsis: In Drive with Swizz Beatz, hip-hop legend and car collector Swizz Beatz and son Nasir Dean (also known as Note Marcato) visit car-loving destinations, where they’ll examine the area’s distinctive car culture and bring together two otherwise disparate car clubs over a shared love of all things automotive and an appreciation for what it’s like to beat the odds through sheer drive alone.
- Godzilla Minus One: New Trailer
Toho International has released their new trailer for Godzilla Minus One, which is the first domestic Japanese Gozilla film since Shin Godzilla in 2016. If the trailer is any indicator of how much Godzilla to expect in Minus One, then there certainly won’t be too long of a buildup before he makes his appearance in the film and proceeds to wreak havoc and terror on the people of Japan.
