  1. Tetris: New Trailer

The latest video game themed film coming out is Tetris, premiering on Apple TV+ on March 31 of this year. This Cold War-era thriller is based on a true story and stars Taron Egerton as Henk Rogers, a man who becomes set on bringing what would become one of the world’s most popular video games to players around the globe.

  1. John Wick: Chapter 4: Final Trailer Released

The final trailer for John Wick: Chapter 4 makes two things very clear. First, John Wick doesn’t go down without a fight. Second, John Wick doesn’t go down, period. The film comes out March 24th.

  1. Kill Boksoon: 2nd Trailer Out

The second trailer for Kill Boksoon paints a contrasting picture of who this assassin is on two ends – on one side as a mother and on the other as a killer. The film comes to Netflix on March 31.

  1. PLUTO: Sneak Peek at Netflix’s Next Anime Series

The award-winning manga PLUTO is receiving its first animated adaptation and Netflix has provided a sneak peek for this highly anticipated suspense drama that takes place in a neo-futuristic world where humans and high-functioning robots live in complete harmony.

“I applaud the courage of everyone that has taken on the challenge of making an anime based on PLUTO. I am excited about the birth of this new series to win over people’s hearts. I hope that now more than ever, Osamu Tezuka’s message reaches the world,” says author Naoki Urasawa.

Other adaptations include a 2015 stage adaptation which returned in 2018 by popular demand and toured Japan and Europe.

Co-author Takashi Nagasaki adds: “PLUTO inherits the philosophy of Tezuka and does not merely convey a message of  anti-war, but reminds us that there is suffering on both sides… but still, the only remaining answer is peace.”

The series’ art is top notch, vibrant with sharp lines, and incredible attention to detail with every frame. Animation production is by Studio M2 and the series is produced by GENCO. Coming sometime in 2023.

  1. BEEF: First Look Images

Netflix has a new series premiering on April 6 by the name of BEEF. The series is a 10-episode, 30-minute dark comedy following the aftermath of a road rage incident between two strangers played by Steven Yeun and Ali Wong. Immediately, I think of the 2020 film Unhinged starring Russell Crowe, however with less intensity and more common everyday chip on one’s shoulder instead of an explosive violent rampage. Ahead of the series’ release, here are the official first look photos:
