  1. The Railway Men: Trailer Out Now

The Railway Men is a four-episode series inspired by the true story of the gas leak in Bhopal and the unsung heroes who had the courage to save their people, despite the risks and unfavorable circumstances. There’s a quote at the end of the trailer that just speaks to the sense of poetic justice seeing a film like this being made decades later after the original tragedy in December 1984: “the truth is that we neither punish those who take lives… nor praise those who save them.”

Release Date: November 18, 2023, on Netflix

These individuals rose against all odds to save their fellow citizens on the night of December 2nd, 1984, battling an invisible enemy in the air. Inspired by true stories, this gripping series is a celebration of the indomitable spirit of humanity.

  1. Lift: Trailer Debut

Kevin Hart can’t be stopped as he continues to crossover into new genres, this time around he is bringing a comedic twist to the action and suspense of the heist genre. Similarly, Korean American singer/actress NS Yoon-G will be in the film under her name, Kim Yoon-ji (see below for a blast from the past of her song “If You Love Me”).

  1. The Boys: Season 4 Teaser Art

Synopsis: The Boys is a fun and irreverent take on what happens when superheroes—who are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians, and as revered as gods—abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good. Intent on stopping the corrupt superheroes, The Boys, a group of vigilantes, continue their heroic quest to expose the truth about The Seven and Vought—the multibillion-dollar conglomerate that manages the superheroes and covers up their dirty secrets. It’s the seemingly powerless against the super powerful.

  1. Okamoto Kitchen OVA: Trailer Released

If you haven’t been to an American anime convention in recent years, then perhaps the Okamoto Kitchen food truck might not ring a bell. But what I find very memorable about them is that they started with a food truck and now have an OVA coming out on Thanksgiving next week. Normally it’s an established anime franchise that goes on to spin off a food truck or collaborate with a known player in the space, so props to them for working backwards: introducing people to authentic, lesser-known Japanese dishes such as Chicken Nanban, Cheese Mochi and Classic Style Japanese Curry and then garnering the support over over 600 fans on Kickstarter to support an anime project.

Release Date: November 23, 2023, on YouTube

Synopsis: The food truck industry is a brutal world! Savage races for parking spots, epic shonen food battles, and lots and lots of VIDEO GAMES! The naive Okamoto Kitchen food truck team of Haru, Chizuru, Mickey and Honey try their best to navigate their way around the unforgiving landscape of the Los Angeles food truck scene. Our heroes will have to push through the growing pains not only to figure out how to thrive in the food truck business, but to also discover who really has their best interests at heart. The culinary arts can sometimes be hard to digest.
